Here are five paintings I have created from drawings from above the Oxford rooftops.
I climbed up The Carfax Tower, Saint Michaels Tower and University Church of Saint Mary the Virgin Tower.
I drew the views carfully with soft pencil on A1cartidge paper, often folding the paper up beacuse of small areas to work in.
After completing the drawings I worked the same subjets onto canvases using coloured Emulsion paints and Acrylic paints.
I will be exhibiting these in a group show at Oxford Town library called 'Various Toppings on Toast' from February to March 2026. Please feel free to come along and if you like my work, buy some. Cards are also available of all five designs.
